Yep, totally doable, scarily enough. There was a lot in the news a few months back about someone creating the specs for printing a gun and footage of it test firing. A quick google search found:

If you have the money and the space and the program, yes you can buy the 3D printer and make your own gun. Amazon sells the printers.

yeah, i'm definitely kind of disturbed. altho 3d printing is really cool! and the diy part of my brain is kind of excited by the thought of a diy firearm. altho also, PEOPLE MAKING PLASTIC GUNS IN THEIR OWN HOMES. which is a bit scary.

i didn't even think to neosporin my knee until it was too late.
