I haven't read much about the spin-off from SPN, but I have to say I think the chances of it succeeding are low. But I could be wrong!

the spin-off is apparently going to be set in chicago and deal with the hunters and hunter families, and monsters and monster families, that live there. it'll be an ensemble show with all new characters, but i guess also the possibility of sam and dean popping in occasionally. i'm not sure how they expect to pull in current spn fans, unless they figure "it's monsters and hunters!" is enough. i don't have high hopes.
