all you really need to know about one direction is that there is nobody in the band named larry (which took me a remarkably long time to realize) and that zayn is the pretty one. :P

fucking damn i'm going to need an icon. >.<

i know there's a harry and a nick, and i recognize one of their songs when it comes on the radio, but otherwise i couldn't pick any of them out of a lineup. i know they're cute and life ruiners.... hee.

Yay for fangirl meetings!

I'm spending the day cooking/baking/prepping for my seder but there will only be 9 here, although 4 are teenagers and thus can eat their weight in goodies. I've never made a cake for it, is passover cake difficult? I tend to toffee matzoh, flourless PB cookies and mandelbrot.

fortunately my contribution to my parents' seder is to show up a little early to help set up. which is much easier than making food or prepping fun and interesting side notes to add to the haggadah.

mandelbrot! my grandma used to make it, which means my parents used to make it, which means i always looked forward to taking some home, and then my dad told me that it's too big a pain in the ass so they don't make it any more. i was CRUSHED. the cake wasn't super difficult, altho it took a lot longer than i was expecting. you have to separate eight eggs. that's a lot of eggs. O.O i won't know if it's any good until tuesday, tho.

hee, teenagers. have fun. :D or should i be wishing you luck?

He does have a point, mandlebrot is annoying to make. Unfortunately. Yeah, the egg usage for passover things tend to be extreme. Oh well, whatever doesn't kill you and yada yada. :)
