i don't remember where i found this pic - tumblr, probably - and i'm assuming it's in monterey, ca, mostly because that's the only american monterey i know. (because i don't think they have coldwell banker in mexico.)
>>Another sign it's not in Mexico is that would be Monterrey. <<
*facepalm* can you tell i'm not up on my mexican geography? heh.
the other reason i think it's in california is that yeah, it looks kind of california beachy. i don't think there are a lot of places in the us where you'd find a little square stucco house painted purple and orange next to a more traditional victorianish yellow house.
duuuuuude. that site is REALLY FUCKING COOL. i love that kind of repurposing, turning abandoned industrial sites into living and/or working/artistic type spaces.
I love adorably painted houses - it's like real life doll house toys. Oh! sheds and dog houses made to be like houses is a special kink in this category :-D
it is! i think that's one reason i like this one - it almost looks like an adult-sized dollhouse. it's that kind of playful. sheds made up to look like houses now kind of confuse me, because i think they should be tiny houses and they're not, they're just sheds. but they do look cool, that's for sure.

It's very cute and just that sort of small town beach hipster vibe that Californians have.
