last night at curling, one of the guys on the other team was substituting for his mom, and he was a. young, b. cute, and c. That map thing is so cool! Except then I'm imagining a lot of, "Honey! reach over and wind my map for me, I need both hands on the wheel!" LOL

i know! i bet one reason they never took off was because it was hard to drive and wind your map at the same time.

ME TOO! evidently they used to sell them at tim horton's, when there were actually tim horton's in new england/the northeast, but they don't look that difficult to make yourself. and also, they look DELICIOUS.

and yes...I remember triptiks...they actually still do them....or they did as recently as a few years ago...I had several done for my cross country trip, just as a backup in case sort of thing....
