i remember when he was shot, which is weird because i only had a vague idea who he was at the time. (hey, i was ten. i didn't know from beatles.)

aaaaaand actually his birthday is tomorrow. >.< i have been misinformed. hmph. still, a nifty googledoodle. my boss noticed it at work and asked me if google had changed their logo, and i went "huh?" and then actually looked at the site and went "ooooh".
