the weird thing about thinking fifteen or twenty years after the rift was realizing that complete strangers know who the twins are. their reputation preceeds them. and at the same time they kind of turn into urban legend, in that occasionally stories spread that are completely untrue but because the twins aren't around to prove or disprove, people believe them anyway. and this is stuff that they never, ever believed could happen, back in the very early days right after the rift when they were hiding in their parents' house freaking the fuck out.

aw, make me blush. *blush* i would lovelovelove to make like a one-minute trailer for the post-apocalypse, but there's just no possible way it could ever happen. no visuals of the twins actually exist, and i think the only good visuals for the world are a few bits of 28 days later when jim first wakes up and is wandering around london trying to find people and figure out what happened.
