i'm watching a csi rerun with kate (ellen tigh) vernon and rekha (tory foster) sharma, involving the death of some guy at a scifi con. well, a con for a trek-like scifi tv show. this makes me giggle. the only thing that would make me giggle harder would be if the scifi tv show was more bsg-like. hee

That's one of my favorite episodes of CSI, I think because I love Hodges so. I thought it poked very gentle fun and was really a rather loving look at cons and trekkies. I also felt the characters who didn't 'get' the con were made to look rather foolish for their attitude. Maybe I just saw what I wanted to see. On the other hand, I thought the episode about the Furry Convention was rather pointedly cruel. Not that I get the whole furry thing.

And on a CM note, I haven't seen a lot of episodes. Last night I watched one that ended with one of the BAU in an exploding car, but I have no idea which one or when they will show the next episode. EEEEEE!

oh god, the furry episode. that one was MEAN. not that i get furries either, because i really really don't, but wow, way to laugh at an entire subculture.

i think hodges is adorable - annoying, but adorable - but i read some snickering in the way the show dealt with the scifi fans.

the second half of the exploding suv episode is on this friday on a&e! (pt 1 is lo-fi, and pt 2 is mayhem.) so you don't have to wait long to find out what happens.

Oh thanks for the CM episode info! I love CM so, even the creepiness. And they manage to hit most, it not all, my cute guy buttons.
