i went out for dim sum today and i'm only just now able to think about food again. (for the uninitiated, a dim sum lunch is basically a parade of chinese dumplings and sticky rice and noodles and chicken feet and shrimp with the heads still on, and it's really really easy to eat until you explode.) but it was good, and the weather was gorgeous

I've got S1 of CM from Netflix so I can actually catch up, but I think last night I did Twitter that Hoyt was on CM! and then I was all like, "Hey, that's Rufus!"
I did indeed also love the ladies taking down that faux FBI dude, that was some serious grrl!power right there. And I am still a bit murky about what exactly is the dynamic of Garcia and Morgan's relationship, but I love that it's still mysterious.
I think I actually have to blame my dad for this new addiction...

morgan and garcia are totally my otp. they flirt a lot and they clearly love each other, but they'll never get to couplehood and i'm ok with that.

It's true. I love seeing actors I know get work.

Yeah, that would totally spoil it for me. My favorite scene from last night is the one you mentioned, with Morgan eating the Twizzler that Garcia was holding. It was so sweet.

I've been noticing how many guest stars have been on both CM and SPN. I started making a list, too, but realized that no one would want to read it. (I've noticed 7 so far with the most notable being BOBBY as a cop in season 3, I think.) (But when "A Well-Respected Man" played on CM (season 4), a song I will *always* equate with AU!Dean in "It's a Terrible Life", I nearly flipped out. (Also, the same actor who played child!Lilith as a victim in CM made me continuously quote-- out loud, mind you, in an otherwise empty apartment-- "It's me! Lilith!" and figure she'd be just fine since she could just smite her captors.)
Of course it was only then I thought to find out where CM films, and apparently it either has in the past, or sometimes does, film in Vancouver. (Not clear on this.) So that could explain some of the crossover! (Of course, this means that I might want to explore Vancouver even more than I anticipated, when I go to the Con next August! My poor non-CM-fan traveling

i thought cm was shot in la. but if it shoots in vancouver sometimes, that would explain the spn cross-pollination.

Okay, so the three I know you know are Bobby and Lilith and Rufus.
Fourth is Meg/Nicki Aycox from "The Perfect Storm" (CM 2.03). I saw her in CM before I saw her on SPN, which kind of colored my perception of Meg. Especially since she had the same haircut as both characters (I think they filmed around the same time.)
Then there's Mitch Pileggi, who was Samuel Campbell in SPN4.03 "In the Beginning" and Norman in "Normal" CM4.11. (He was also in an episode of Vancouver-filmed series Reaper.) Of course, I can't see him without thinking of X-Files, also Vancouver based.
Scott Michael Campbell, who I think you mentioned in your comments to SPN 5.03 "Free to Be..." as he was also in CM 3.15, "A Higher Power." He was also in two episodes of House, another one of a handful of shows of which I watch and rewatch ( ... )

i think i only saw half of cold comfort, which is why i can't remember mercedes mcnab was in it. and she was in fresh blood for, like, five minutes, which means i can't remember her off-hand in that either. i have a terrible memory. and she was good in cold comfort! very un-harmony-y!
wait, there's eight. jim parrack, who was one of the unsubs in cm 2x21, open season, was also in spn 4x14, sex and violence. he was nick the fake fbi guy, the actual siren.
