you are what you eat - photos of the insides of people's fridges. completely fascinating. oddly enough it did not make me hungry. i think it was the frozen snake that put me off.... seriously. a whole snake in someone's freezer.

for a very brief second i thought it was alive, and couldn't figure out why a snake would be living in someone's freezer. and then i was just squicked. i do feel kind of bad for it, tho....

We had a frozen rattle snake in the freezer, a tarantula, and a scorpion or two. We always had cool stuff, no pun intended, for show and tell.

i know people eat snake, so it kind of makes sense, i was just totally startled to see a whole unwrapped snake in someone's freezer. and then i felt kind of bad for it.

you have such a wee fridge for two people! and i too was kind of amazed at how full some of the single-person fridges were, altho the guy who was a ww2 pow, i can kind of understand why he might be all "I HAVE TO HAVE FOOD".

i had to take a picture of my fridge for comparison.

With the refrigerator pictures... some of them look really empty to me! I don't know, I guess I'm used to a fuller fridge. We always have leftovers and fresh fruit/vegetables and yoghurt and dips and milk and a couple different kinds of juice. Now that I think about, it's definitely a place where you really can look at the way different people live.

Some of those photojournalism pictures... amazing! I love phtotojournalism.

some of the fridges look really empty to me too, and i don't have a particularly full fridge myself. mine always looks like i need to go grocery shopping. they're so revealing that way.
