So, over on E! Online, their Alpha Male Madness is down to the semi-final round. Sam Winchester vs. Eric Northman, and Dean Winchester vs. Sayid Jarrah (from Lost).

... I don't want to vote one or the other, I want someone to slash them >:D (Also, it looks likely we'll have a Winchester matchup for the finals.)

i. um. votedforericagainstsam. *ahem* i'm sorry, sam, but eric makes a better bloodsucker. also we haven't gotten to see your longlong legs hanging out of a bathtub yet.

altho they do tie in the "speaking a foreign language is really hot" category.... and the tall vs the tall is a very nice mental image....

*pets* I did, too. Kickass hunter... thousand-year-old Viking vampire... demon blood... HOTASS VIKING VAMPIRE. \o/

We can be outcast from the fandom together :D

i already have the occasional unpopular fannish preference - altho maybe it's not as unpopular as i think it is - so i'm totally down with that. plus which, it means hanging out in the hotass viking vampire camp, and there is just no bad there.

i hadn't thought of that, but it makes sense too. i know there's a dog park somewhere near me - well, nearish - but i still see dogs on the sidewalk. but i didn't even notice the lack of dogs in greater atlanta until i got home.

i guess a higher proportion of dog owners have yard space, or don't actually live within the city limits? that is a weird little detail. what's different? where did the dogs go? if this were a story it'd probably end with aliens or something. =p

i like your little story-bits muchly, but i can understand wanting to write out something longer and plotty, and i definitely understand the feeling like y'forgot how. i'm sorta staring at tirnanog going now what? i've forgotten how to start at the beginning! but hey, yay for the plus side. ideas are good.

my best guess is there were just more and better yards in greater atlanta. i mean, my neighborhood is full of double- and triple-deckers and not a lot of yard space.

alien dogs, hee. like elvis, they were just called home.

i used to know how to write long stories in which things happened and kept happening.... granted, they were nanonovels and i didn't have a choice if i wanted to make wordcount, but still. i can totally start at the beginning, it's just that i tend to write as if the ending is right there too. like, there's no middle. >.< and i want to be able to write a substantial middle before i get to the ending. (and i keep going into the bookstore and flipping thru the books, or reading about other people's books, and thinking "i can do better than this". and i can't! like, literally cannot write the better book, because i can't conceptualize that much story. it's SO FRUSTRATING.)
