dude. We are all cylons.

head!six and head!baltar are angels of Jimi Hendrix (He doesn't like to be called god).

It was a good finale, but I was hoping for great. There were some really amazing episodes this half-season, but I didn't think this was one of them. I would have liked a lot less flashback and a lot more splainin'. so confusing sometimes. like, they left the rest of the humans and took off on Galactica, but then the humans showed up again on Earth, but how? They were supposed to meet somewhere else, right? Also, what happened to Kara? Did she go down(up) with the ship too and Lee was hallucinating her? Maybe she is another angel of Jimi? And what is with people with no training or resources or even second sets of clothing going off by themselves to live in the wilderness?

*confused*

>>head!six and head!baltar are angels of Jimi Hendrix (He doesn't like to be called god).<<

that's what head!baltar meant with "he doesn't like to be called that". heee. i can buy them as angels, and jimi as god. (and real!baltar did tell cavil "i see angels" in the cic....)

i think the galactica sent a viper back to the rendezvous point to give the rest of the fleet the coordinates to earth. someone mentioned on earth that they'd given up on the ship and were thus really glad to see the viper.

there were kind of a lot of flashbacks, tho. did we need all the ones with adama and the tighs? and roslin and her former student? the only one i thought had a clear point was baltar telling six that he could get her the defense info she wanted, because that's what started the whole mess.

Yeah, that's the part that pissed me off. What colonists in their right minds would leave all their blankets and clothes and pots and pans and all that metal that could be used for cabins on the damn ship to get burnt up by the sun? NOT plausible. Modern-day people who tried to "live off the land" would mostly die. Look at the death rate in the original pilgrim colonies in the US--those were city folk trying to learn to farm, and even they had more survival skills than people like us would.

this is what i figure too. say hera was some kind of original ancestor, then we evolved from her (and i guess helo and athena), not the rest of the colonists. i doubt any of them survived long enough to breed enough to eventually become us. they couldn't communicate with the locals for help either, and i highly doubt there was interbreeding.

Here in Canada on Space the commercials worked for pacing. I heard in the states it ran 11 mins over. Ours was on time.
