i have a new&improved idea to submit to writing group which i now have to write from scratch, instead of writing from having thought about it. it's tremendously indulgent and you may or may not laugh at me when i mention that i got the idea from an rps request. my story will of course not be rps because i don't write rps. I have a wee!Minas Tirith from the ROTK:EE box set that sits on one of my bookshelves. Right next to my Argonath bookends. *g*

i put mine on my tv console thing right near my lotr box set. i love those bookends but i've never seen them in person!

my fic doesn't have painter!chad or art!gallery!jensen or denmother!chris, but it has guys who are inspired by them. and since i know nothing about chad or chris i don't have to worry about it turning into rps when i'm not paying attention. :D

i might have to leave the house to write it, tho.

misshallelujah sold off some of her stuff, and i already have the lotr dvd box set, so.... apparently my fannish buying habits run to "mini models of things".

the idea was spawned by azewewish saying "you know what would be cool? painter!chad." this is what happens when you don't write rps - you end up with random plot bunnies anyway. (jared has mutated into a stoner sculptor currently fast asleep on a folding patio chair in the bottom of painter!chad's (drained) pool. heh.)

for the purposes of the story, you get art in a gallery by being a. good, and b. in the right place at the right time. i have no idea how it really works, tho. altho i guess you could always get involved with someone who owns a gallery, and then sleep with her....
