man, i love my fandom. i don't always feel that involved in it and sometimes i just want to bang my head against the table because of it, but i love that it's introduced me to so many really nifty people, and that for all its wank and infighting and batshittery, it's full of fans who genuinely love and are inspired by their show and the people who make it. it makes me happy.

this might be the first year i made an actual list of things i'm grateful for besides my friends. but you're right - there's a lot of negativity in the world. today's the day to try and balance that with good. :D
