i got to go home from work early and celebrated by burning a buttload of photos onto a disk so i can delete them off my hard drive to make more space. and then i... did not actually delete them off my hard drive because they are digital photos and i am PARANOID that god forbid something happens to the disk, and something happens to my external ( Read more... )

The husband does a lot of digital photography, as well. Suggestion? He recently bought himself a pro account ($25/yr.) at flickr.com, which will host your pictures for you on an off-site server. You might feel better deleting the old ones if you have a copy elsewhere? Since the hubby's computer crashed majorly just last weekend, we're very grateful he did that because flickr.com now has the only copies of some of his work.

i actually have a flickr account, which i got last year so other people (ie, my sister) could see some of my paris pics, and i uploaded one pic of the eiffel tower and that was it. >.< how much space do you get with a pro account? because i was kind of thinking about that.
