shoebox_project ate my brain. i blame bunnymcfoo. it has PICTURES! and NOTES! and BOYS! and angst AND humor! and STUFF! (and clearly i'm getting carried away with the capital letters....) it also stirred four random muses in the brain, and i can't decide if that's a good thing or not.... none of them have names, but they have reasonably cliched love connections and a couple of little scenelets and a general setting. and they are feeling more and more like some crackheaded harry potter au, which is absurd because i don't write fanfic (and don't especially want to) and i think if you're going to write something THAT au you may as well make them all original characters anyway. which is why they're original characters and not, you know, au versions of sirius and remus and james and lily.
...shoot me now.

and i'd explain all about them and where they came from, exactly, and why i've never tried to write fanfic even tho that's what you'd expect this to turn into, except there's work on my desk i need to do before my boss gets back at noon.
and it's COLD IN THE OFFICE.
