Mirage
No one moves your chrome heart but me.....
"Happy Birthday to Shoonie!"
The 21 year old tries to hide an embarrassed smile as the cast of Hayakushi sing the greeting to their hearts' content.
"Make a wish Shoon-kun," Keito says with a smile as Shoon bends closer to the candles on his cake.
"Wish for a new car!" Sanada exclaims flailing and almost hitting the timid Reon by his side.
"Wish for more fans!"
"Wish for.....,"
"Oi Sanada, leave the wishing for the birthday boy would you?" Fujigaya snaps irritatedly.
Shoon smiles and closes his eyes. The image of Yabu, Hikaru and Taiyou's text message greetings early on comes to his mind. Busy they were with their own lives but he was glad they wished him anyway.
'The past is the past, we leave no regrets behind us. However it may be, just a day in the past, one day with that group......,'
"Ni-chan?"
His brother's voice brings him to the present as he realizes the candles are burning out. Smiling he blows away the flames.

Shoon stretches as he walks down the street heading towards the nearest Konbini. He frowns as he realizes that even after washing up he still smells like the cake that was smeared all over his face and neck by his friends. He checks his phone as he enters the warm shop and starts replying to more greeting from his university mates.
He smiles as he spots a magazine with Jump on the cover. The news was about their winter concert and Yabu's musical. Striding over to a freezer he grabs a bottle of juice. Turning around he stops as he sees something strange on the round thick mirror on a corner. A figure in red stood staring back from the adjoining isle. The figure was strange and something about it gave him shivers.

Quickly he rushes to the end of his aisle and the beginning of the next to find a man in a grey suit checking out a can of red beans. He asks the gentleman about a woman in red and gets stared back. Apologizing he rushes to pay for his drink and steps out onto the cold street.
That's when he sees her, again. She stands there, in the middle of the side lane. People passing by as if she doesn't exist. He would've thought it was normal if she wasn't dressed in that flow y red dress, with no shoes and a veil covering half her face...her eyes a dazzling violet. She stands there with a smile, her blood red lips prominent against the lacy veil and looks straight at him with a piercing gaze.
My sharp gaze delving into your brain
"Oh, Kei-chan, isn't that Shoon?" Shige asks his companion who looks up from his phone at the boy standing transfixed. Koyama calls out to the younger boy, remembering that it was his birthday and he still had another hour and a half to wish him before midnight but frowns as the latter starts running away instead.
"Maybe he didn't hear you?" Shige replies as the older shrugs confused.
"What in the world was he staring at anyway?"

"Yabu-kun, where are you going?"
The older looks down at his younger band mates and gives their hair a friendly ruffle.
"I need some air, Hika wanna come?"
The other obliges enthusiastically as they leave Yamada and Chinen to their card game and rush out onto the street and towards the nearby park. They walk in silence for a while, indulging in the serenity of the mildly crowded lane flanked by Sakura trees and lined by thick snow. Just then Yabu stops making the younger look up at him in confusion.
"What's up?" Hikaru asks and then traces his friend's line of vision to see a barefooted woman in red standing some feet away, staring at them.
"Is it a ghost?" Hikaru whispers but then jumps as his phone starts ringing. Pulling it out his eyes widen as he sees the name on display.
"It's Shoon,"
"No, its not," Yabu replies with anxiety to his voice and Hikaru is startled to realize that the older is right. The woman in red clutches in her hand a familiar cell phone with an even familiar keychain.
"I gave that keychain to Shoon years ago," he replies his voice growing hoarse. The woman smiles wider before turning around and taking off with two Idols at her heels.
