for those of you who have discovered I have a Facebook page (under my real name), and now are thinking that I'm some kind of jerk for not responding to your friend requests, this is what's going on

My sister and wife both tell me I do. I was not given much of a choice.

That depends on the security settings of the individual user whose page you are trying to look at.

My advice: try a new registration?
