it's amazing the degree to which we as a society have become overwhelmed with media to absorb. 500 channels of television, hundreds if not thousands of movies per year being released, too many books to count, aisles full of magazines on every topic imaginable at the store, thousands of bands and artists creating music and other forms of art daily
