Sy's comment of "Actually when we brought it up with him he defended you" could totally play into this.
Actually I can see this all throughout the depositions. On the surface Mark looks cold and closed off, but behind the scenes he's schooling his lawyers to be nice, and attempting to glare Gretchen into submission.

Mark installs a webcam on Eduardo's computer so they can keep in touch. Occasionally he logs in at night/early morning and watches Eduardo sleep. Yeah, it's creepy, but how else is he going to see the man he loves?

Unfortunately he logs in one night and catches Eduardo having sex. It's clear that this is not the first time Eduardo and Mr. X have been together.

Mark is heartbroken and devastated. He thought he and Eduardo were in love even though they'd never said it or defined their relationship.

This is either A: the beginning of the end for Eduardo in FB. An angry Mark unleashes his vidictive nature and lashes out at the man that's broken his heart. Or B: Mark looses it and goes on a coding binge. He withdraws from everyone, to the point that he passes out from lack of food/water/sleep. Chris/Dustin/Sean try and figure out what's happened and then how to fix everything.

I leave it to the author to decide.

((Oh, Lordy, it's been a while since I've written, but this inspired me so much. Well, here we go, I hope you enjoy! I kind of ran with the idea that Eduardo had laptop and nowadays laptops have built in web-cams and with a few quick hacks, badabing badaboom, you've got yourself a full view of everything as long as the laptop's open. Sorry if there's any mistakes, this is unbeta'd.))

Mark, though he doesn't honestly care to admit out loud, would do anything to see Eduardo. He would do anything to be with Eduardo. He would go to the ends of the Earth for Eduardo and he wouldn't even complain if Eduardo told him to go back. No, Mark loves Eduardo too much for that.

Mark's heart flutters in his chest as he gets past the last firewall and finally gains access to Eduardo's web-cam.

The sight he sees doesn't brighten his day much at all. His heart stops fluttering and begins hammering desperately in his chest, his smile drops and his lower lip tucks itself just barely underneath his front teeth. People find the expression strange, but that was Mark's way of saying he was hurt, confused, and angered.

On the screen before him, he see's some... Tool... pounding into Eduardo. Eduardo has his arms around the man's shoulders and his teeth are sunken into the man's shoulder. Eduardo has his legs wrapped around Tool's waist and he's whimpering and sweat-drenched and making all these noises and Mark is stuck watching because he's wanted to see that for so long, but he want to be the one Wardo was with, not some Tool from New York ( ... )

Great start! I love this so far - my heart goes out to Mark in the second part, you really did a good job of showing his pain that Wardo could be with someone else.

Now I wait for an update!

For whatever reason, Wardo runs away from home. Whatever guy author wants takes him in. Why he ran away is up to the author, all I ask is for bottom!Wardo.

I'm desperate for a WW1 AU with Mark and Eduardo fighting in the trenches, coming to rely on each other to survive until they're rescued.

I'm sure there is some insanely talented nonnie out there who can make the concept work!

I am far from insanely talented and definitely not a nonnie, haha. But I decided to give this fill a try? There's trench warfare in here...but it's not a large part of the fic. I got kind of carried away ._. I hope you like it anyway though!
