So, what kind of kinks do you think the characters have - TSN-wise *or* RPS-wise? ;)

I'm perfectly aware that IRL one's personality does not determine the types of kink one is interested in, but the same could go for how a character behaves during vanilla sex, as well, and, of course, we take a character's personality into consideration even when we write *that*.

Mark is such a cypher that there isn't much that wouldn't be credible at all.

Personally I suspect everyone of being hopelessly unimaginative and unadventurous when it comes to kinks. Except Sean who seems like the type to be lol edgy for its own sake. Which is worse.

First of all, I love that you just used the word "cypher." Secondly, I think your characterization of Sean is right on the money. (The Vanity Fair article of Sean Parker vaguely hints [if you squint] that Sean did/does drugs for the sake of pushing boundaries.)

It dawned on me that the whole time I've been participating in this fandom, I've been imagining the Chris in fics as real!Chris Hughes. Let me explain.

I have the biggest trouble focusing. So when I watch movies, I either miss a lot of details or I notice them, but cannot remember them at all right after. One such detail happened to be actor!Chris Hughes' face. He appeared in so little scenes I completely forgot his face. Hence, real!Chris Hughes, whose face I don't know why I remember better than anyone else's from the real life team.

ohgodohgodohgod I'm going to find screencaps and memorize actor!Chris Hughes' face now. You guys. Is it weird I've been imagining the real dude. Oh my god you guys.

This reminds me of that one fandomsecret where someone confessed that sometimes they imagine the real Mark when reading TSN fic. Although I guess I am not sure if that's all that weird considering thr blurry lines between canon, RPF, mentioning the movie in-fic, meta-ficcing the kinkmeme, and pairing up Jesse/Mark for some real mindfuckery.

I guess there's really no need to make a big deal out of whose face you visualize when you read a fic about a specific character, unless you have some reservations about RPF/RPS like I do.

But then again Patrick Maple is gorgeous and there is certainly no harm in memorizing his face ;)

I might be because I love talking about the movie and the cast but I don't really use my LJ anymore, but idk, anon memes lead to wank sooner or later and I enjoy having a relatively wank-free fandom for once.

i'd be nervous about one appearing because this fandom is mostly wank-free on LJ and anon memes have a tendency to become mean and nasty when people can go anon.

Definitely! I'd love a chance to discuss the fandom/movie further and most of my f-list hasn't even seen it, so. I know there's always the possibility of drama, but generally I like the sort of discussion I've seen on anon memes.

Um... so, I've seen TSN exactly once, which was when it came out back in October.

In the interest of fic writing, I was wondering if there is an official reference to Eduardo's father after the shares are diluted. In a lot of fic, his father stops talking to him or kicks him out or what have you and I was wondering if that was a fanon thing or if Eduardo actually says something in the movie in reference to a negative interaction with his father. Any clarification on the subject would be most helpful.

During the depositions, Eduardo says my father won't even look at me which os where a lot of it comes from.
