It’s time to get this fest started, everybody! We are incredibly excited and we hope that you guys are, too!
This is the Prompt Post for Springfest! Our optional theme for prompts is Spring. This theme can be applied any way you want to apply it; think of the actual season and anything to do with it (the weather, the holidays, Eduardo, Mark and Dustin’s birthdays, etc.), or Spring Break, or anything that spring means for you. You do not have to apply the theme at all, if you don’t want to! Since this is Springfest’s first year, we want to be flexible and accommodating to everyone’s interests.
Please remember that the maximum amount of prompts you can leave is three (3) per person. This means that, yes, prompting on anonymous isn’t allowed (anon commenting has been temporarily disabled). You do not have to commit to creating something when you prompt.
Prompting will be open until January 20th!
Here are some more specific guidelines, under a cut to protect your flists!
1. Keep in mind that this is not an exchange fest, so a lot of prompts will go unclaimed. We were trying to figure out a fair way to make sure that every person got a prompt filled, but unfortunately there was no way to do so without restricting prompts unfairly.
2. You can prompt for fanfic, art/graphics, or fanvids. Please specify which medium the prompt is for. This is especially important for fanvids; fanvid prompts will obviously be different from fic prompts. If you have no preference, say so.
3. Here is a suggested form for prompting. It is not mandatory to use this format (for example, if you want to just grab a kink meme prompt and repost it here, that’s fine, as long as you specify the pairing and the medium, those are the only mandatory specifications), but we do suggest it, simply because it makes prompts easier to work from.

You can be as specific or vague as you’d like, and you don’t have to have a preference for every option! For fanvids, you can suggest songs in either the Scenario or Preferences. AUs are also welcome, just specify that scenario, and all pairings are welcome, including RPF pairings**.
(**A note about RPF: Anyone involved with The Social Network cast is fair game. We received a question about pairings like Rooney Mara/Daniel Craig, which are allowed, but please keep those kinds of pairings involved with the rest of the cast, sort of all in the same universe.)
