Sean wants Mark. But Mark is with Eduardo and happy with Eduardo. During the dilution fiasco, Sean offers Mark a deal. He'll let Eduardo have 15% of shares if Mark sleeps with him. Mark, wanting to keep Eduardo close, agrees. When Eduardo finds out Mark cheated on him, he leaves and Sean finally has Mark all to himself. Eventually Eduardo discovers the truth and comes back to save Mark Non con, h/c please.
TL;DR Sean tricks Mark into sleeping with him. Eduardo sees them together and leaves. He comes back after learning the truth and saves Mark from creeper/abuser Sean.

****OP, pls forgive anon in advance - haven't written proper fic in ages. tense!fail is a given, i'm afraid.
ugh no research has been done whatsoever. this is a slightly-to-the-left AU. Title from a random song I'm listening to rn.****Eduardo didn't bother coming in when he fired off his resignation letter. In fact, he didn't bother getting out of bed at all. It's a testament of his upbringing, his training and his education that even with a hangover courtesy of an all-night bender at the shady bar he and Mark (Mark) used to point out on the way from the airport to Palo Alto, he could still draft a reasonably professional letter that politely said, fuck you very much Mark Zuckerberg, fuck you and thanks for all the memories

Eduardo stopped so abruptly he had to loudly clear his throat before he could turn and face Sean Parker. He hadn't been oblivious to Chris and Dustin running interference in the years since, but every play's gotta fail sometime, and here he is, the Singapore sweat barely dry on his collar, meeting the man who for a while, Eduardo genuinely hated with all of his heart.
"Eduardo!" Sean cried, in his grand manner. There's little that's changed since they first met, and now that he thought about it, this whole Fullerton thing had 'Sean Parker' screaming all over it.
"Sean," he said, as simply as he could.
"Hey, howya doin' man? We missed you at Palo Alto, 'uardo"Do you

Twenty minutes later, the living room lights were still on, but there was no Chris. Eduardo snorted to himself. He switched the screensaver off, and checked his download. Ugh, the last 2% was always hell on his patience. In the meantime, he checked his emails, and, with a look to the slightly open door of the guestroom, he opened a tab for Facebook.
He shared enough friends with Chris and he wasn't exactly sober himself that it took him awhile to recognise that that's not his News Feed.
He was about to log off though when a chat window opened.
Mark Zuckerberg: U still up?
Eduardo stared at the chat window. He should apologise, tell Mark he's not Chris. He should just close the window. He should just log off and not say anything to his ex, the CEO of Facebook.

OH GOD, this part sounds so interesting. I really want to read this but a character like Mark (have difficulties in communicating his feelings/thoughts, somewhat helpless) meets abuse/non-con plot is just too close to my trigger...

oh OP, i had to put on the Eleventh Doctor's theme so I could get started. and it's prolly shaping to be more dub-con, with more emotional abuse than physical. /o\ Chris looked skeptically at his tray. "I know American portion sizes are ridiculous, but are you sure you didn't order off of the kids' menu

Cans of Tiger and a half-empty bottle of Smirnoff later, Chris was lying on the parquet floor contemplating the unopened Bacardi. Eduardo had been pacing himself, if by pacing he meant, nursing the same damned can of Tiger. He felt mercenary, but it wasn't like Chris was unaware, even as he was single-mindedly leading himself to alcohol poisoning

Just for the Doctor Who reference I kinda love you. I really like Chris here, how he knows something is going on but he can't prove it. Can't wait for more :D

He typed: "Barely."
