Tired

So, I decided to do the good old-fashioned Atkins Induction 14-day eat-exactly-what-the-book-says thing, because that's easy on the brain. That all sounds good! I mean, except the car trouble, that's no fun.

My first "new way of eating" grocery bill was pretty scary. But this one I took a little more time on the planning side and it came out under, and I forgot that I'd be gone at the end of the month, so I actually have more food than I need for this pay period. So that's good. I still need to figure out how to work in more veggies, because I'm all meat meat meat meat right now.

Speaking of, I love chicken livers, but I never buy them to cook for myself.

I rarely think to buy chicken livers at the store, but I've been getting them from the farm whenever they were available because they were super fresh and freaking delicious. Sigh, I'm going to miss having an excellent poultry source so handy! But not for a while, because my freezer is literally full of chicken and chicken products.

And I figure all this food (besides the chickens) will actually last me for over a month, aside from things like fresh produce that I got smaller amounts of and need to buy more often to avoid spoilage anyway. Hopefully as I refill it won't all run out at once...
