 my very cool buddy arcata1 posted these pics the other other day and i just had to share them with you guys....... if you haven't seen them already that is... if so, then i'll have just wasted your time..but.. whatever

.. they said they dipped the end of the rope in cat food...?? i don't know what that was supposed to have accomplished...

As anybody whose cat has eaten string knows, it will come out the other end. It's nasty. So clearly, the plan was to get the cat to eat the rope, and once it is sufficiently threaded through the innards of the cat, just reel it in.

Then they'd just have to let the process complete itself. You can't just pull the string/rope out. That would hurt the cat.

and didn't anyone ask... you guys are firemen!!! where's your ladder? everyone who's above the age of 5 associates firemen with ladders... apparently these firemen carry cat food around and to hell with the life saving equipment.

i know!! i want a ladder climbing cat.. i've only ever had the eat, sleep, and poop all day garden variety cat .. for once i'd like one that i can rent out to the circus if money runs low.

the least they could have done is tie a large basket to the end of rope with some food inside - cat jumps in - nomnomnom - vola rescued
