Lisa calls to him from the back door. It backs away, disappearing in the gloom.

This is a story about grief, and love, and hope. I love how the author uses daemon characters to show us more about what's going on inside the characters' heads than we would otherwise know (that's what all the best His Dark Materials fusion stories do, I think). Dean is never truly alone, because he has Molly, but at the same time the missing spaces where Sam and Tsafira ought to be seem even emptier by comparison. And it all makes the happy ending so much sweeter. A great fix-it for everything that was unsettling and dissatisfying about Season 6.
