Fragment: Vampires... IN SPACE!

Man, I should not continue to think the terrible, temporary title for this piece is hysterically funny. And yet, I do. Later scene for what I'd posted previously since I'm working out the kinks in the plot that comes before this scene. Also, it's the only "complete" piece I've managed to write in awhile. Everything else has been 1-2 pages added to ( Read more... )

As someone who doesn't know how to play Go Fish, I must admit to being puzzled.

Go Fish is probably the first card game most people learn as kids. It is exceptionally easy game with very simple rules. It also doesn't take long to play, so to kill time you wind up playing numerous rounds of it. These are the basic rules, though there are several variations (for example, in my family, we never tried to get a group of four. You got points just for the pair.)

I missed the other post at some point... but I have read both of them and am quite intrigued. Are you planning to go farther with this storyline? Because I really like what you have so far and it would be fun to see more. Marcus's voice is a good narrator. ^___^

I loved the previous chapter of this that you posted and wanted so much for there to be more. This is likewise loved.
The concept of 'Vampires In Space' *cue echo* is fun and intriguing and even though as Marcus said in the previous chapter there has never been a case of Draghust being interesting in sex with a human there's that tingle that says..maybe.

Okay, why can Marcus hear the buzz of the Draghust and break their control on another person? Why is Marcus on their ship and confined to the room unless under escort (guess I could figure that last part out myself)? I want more obviously. *strokes the muse*

Have I told you recently that I love this story so far? Because I do. And you know what else I love? That Marcus names the Draghurst, because they can't tell him their names, much less have Marcus able to pronounce them (if there... is pronouncing...?), or if they even have names, you know, uh. Wow. This sentence keeps getting more complicated the more I think about it, so yeah.

Where did Toots get those pink laces? I bet all the other soldiers are jealous >3

Hee! This is great. ^_^ I hope you write more about Marcus's adventures with the Draghust.
