LEXAEUS: One of the founding members of Organization XIII, Number V and 'The Silent Hero'. His title may be a misnomer, as Lexaeus isn't certain that he's done anything particularly heroic.
ZEXION: Number VI, a fellow founder, and Lexaeus's best friend. He's determined to give Lexaeus the credit he thinks he deserves.
NAMINÉ: A special Nobody, born of Kairi, a Princess of Light. Innocent and observant, she questions Lexaeus's powers and if he should investigate them.
XALDIN: Another founding member of Organization XIII and Xigbar's best friend. Due to being one half of the explosive pair of 'Xigbar and Xaldin', he has had his fair share of destroying other experiments. Despite this, he and Lexaeus have a deep, but quiet understanding.
VEXEN: A founding member of the Organization, but the one who gains the least respect from his teammates. Despite his eccentric ways, he is close with Lexaeus and Zexion, as they will comprise the Basement Team of Castle Oblivion.
XIGBAR: A founding member of Organization XIII. Being one of the most destructive scientists in the lab, he has destroyed some of Lexaeus's most precious projects, but there is still a definite care and respect between them.
XEMNAS: The Superior of Organization XIII. He keeps to himself most all the time, and only truly converses with the other founders and Saïx, his second-in-command.
ROXAS: The Nobody of Sora, the Keyblade's Chosen One. Roxas is cocky and rebellious despite his age and position, and only respects those who have managed to impress him.

NAKOMA: A world native, and the young woman who saves Lexaeus's 'life'. She is an altruist, always putting an interest into her people's well-being above her own.
POCAHONTAS: Princess of her tribe and Nakoma's best friend. Reckless and free-spirited, perhaps to a fault, she is in mourning after news of her lover's passing arrived in the village.
GRANDMOTHER WILLOW: An ancient guardian spirit of Nakoma's people and their lands. She is always willing to give advice to her 'children', whom she is protective of.
GOVERNOR RATCLIFFE: A man whose thirst for violence caused havoc within the world months before Lexaeus arrives. He returned to the 'Old World' in chains, seeds of hate and darkness planted in his heart.
CHIEF POWHATAN: Pocahontas's father and leader of his tribe. Places the safety of his people and his daughter above all else.
MEEKO: A raccoon. One of Pocahontas's constant companions.
