It's not exactly that she's directly lieing'n'such (which might make it worse?), its that she acts one way and says another. If actions speak louder than words, than the edge is supposedly mine, but it is still really confusing to the point it just kinda pisses me off -.-#. Not being in my native language makes it more interesting, whether that is for better or worse is something the jury is still out on (it's not a barrier, really, women make no sense in my own language too =P).
