New Year's Day

*got to sleep late on New Year's Day! *woot*

*went grocery shopping. they're remodeling the supermarket where we go, so it's always interesting to be shopping while things are a little out of sorts.

*after lunch, we watched Ladyhawke. i still love that movie, and the girls enjoyed it as well. yaay ( Read more... )

Oh yeah. I saw it several times in the theater too. The last time a bunch of Renaissance group was there. They were sitting behind me. When the movie was over, a lady throw her veil around her neck. Unfortunately it went around my neck too. She was strangling me. It took me about a minute to get her to stop.

totally agree. i think i saw it for the first time in the early 90s.... and have been in love with it (and Rutger Hauer too!) since then.

Rutger Hauer was SO gorgeous in it, and his horse was stunning! I love Friesians, they're one of the most beautiful horse breeds in the world!

That battle in the church, at the end...just incredible! Now I want to watch it again *LOL*

Oooo, Ladyhawke is one of my favorites! It was pretty much the reason I love both Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfeiffer to this day. I even had two NPCs named "Etienne" and "Isabeau" in one of the RPGs I ran; I imagined them looking like Hauer & Pfeiffer. :)

The soundtrack is one of my favorites, too - I had the LP (I'm probably dating myself).
