I think I started to guess that Sam was Neal's father, the moment they brought up the DNA test.

I think for me it was the fact that DNA tests only work to identify someone if they have something to compare the DNA to. It's far from the easiest or best way to make an ID, so for the show to go immediately to that option, I just felt there had to be more going on. What DNA tests are good for though is proving a person's familial relationship to someone*g*

well, in retrospect, there is that. but we'd already knows Sam wasn't Sam. so they run the DNA test to see who he is.

i'm a little slow sometimes. ;)

I figured that "Sam" was actually Neil's father based on the teasers we got for episode last week. I had this sneaking suspicion that this season was going to get into everything that happened with Neil's dad when last season wrapped, and I'm glad to see that that's the case.

I'm also pretty sure that I know what Auggie wants to tell Annie, based off of interviews from Chris Gorham regarding the changing dynamics of the Annie/Auggie relationship. My little shipper heart hopes that I'm right, but on the same note I'm a little apprehensive about how the show's dynamic will change if that actually ends up being the case.

well, ok, yeah, i see that in hindsight. 20/20 hindsight is a bitch, yeah? but as i said, sometimes i'm slow.

and i'm in the same boat as your little shipper heart too! show's dynamic be damned. hee.

White Collar, ha. I've been saying that revelation for weeks. It was so obvious. Even people on the White Collar Facebook page were saying it, but they thought the show might not because it was so obvious. I figured they would. I'm just glad Peter and Neal are still chummy after last week's fiasco. Hey, faith is a good thing to rely on, right? LOL

--EDITED--I'm hoping for the same as your above conversations for Covert Affairs, as well.

As I said above, I'm good at missing the obvious, then....

Yeah, me too!:D
