*i watched In Time last night. wow, that was good! i started it before the girls went up to bed, so they were kinda lingering, watching the beginning, saying it was interesting. at least, J thought it was. so once i return it to the library today, i'll re-request it. (it's due Friday, and there's holds on it so i can't renew it. dang!) shallow ( Read more... )

i know Dean is very pretty, but really - it's kind of a boring task. so.

Fair enough :)

Have a nice day :)

No, seriously...Dean is pretty but sorting out all those caps might really be boring!

oh it is. especially since there's 900, 1000, or more sometimes. *sigh*

I did not like "Inception". I thought I would. It came highly recommended. So many people I know loved it. But I was annoyed with it, more than anything else. YMMV, of course.

I know what you mean. I thought it was okay-ish, but not as wonderful as everyone else was saying.

Now Source Code, on the other hand, I'll happily recommend to anyone who likes their sci-fi a bit cerebral (even if it is a bit of a rip-off of/homage to Quantum Leap... The Adjustment Bureau I also thought was pretty darned good.

Would it be easier if I sorted thru the caps myself, chose the highlights, so there wouldn't be so many? I could do that, I suppose. Then you can cut it down from there or whatever.

Just an offer...

I can give it a try, I mean...I'm used to sorting through endless caps. :P

You want me to get them down to a certain number?

Matt Bomer's in In Time? Right, I'm getting it! Shallowness or not, you're right.

As for Pratchett, if you're reading Discworld in publication order, then it takes a while for them to hit their stride (around Mort/Wyrd Sisters). And if you're not reading them in publication order, then - IMO - I've found the books since about Carpe Jugulum to be incredibly variable - some wonderful ones, others deadly dull. Just IMO - YMMV.

yep, Matt Bomer is in In Time. =)

i'm reading the Discworld in mostly publication order of the books i borrowed from my friend. basically, The Color of Magic was ho-hum, Equal Rites reminded me of another series i'd read, and Sourcery was like "yeah.... and?"

i quite enjoyed Mort, as well as Wyrd Sisters (which is what i'm currently reading. *g*)
