I can bring up the Glass serisee next month. I also have her "Study serise' if you want that (I would probably have started with the Study ones) and Inside Out
i still have my Dragonlance Chronicles to read - the original Chronicles and the Lost Chronicles.
*shudders* Oh, Dragonlance...the series responsible for introducing one of the most annoying races ever to plague fantasy roleplaying games - the kender. :( Not to mention Raistlin Majere, a character I wanted to drop-kick off a frelling cliff, despite all the DL fangirls (and fanboys) who think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. There's no accounting for taste, I suppose. :)
*clears throat* Hookay, sorry 'bout the gamer rant. It's just that DL has a number of ungood associations for me.
As to recs...have you read any of Yasmine Gaelnorn's Sisters of the Moon series (starts with Witchling)? Three half-faerie, half-mortal sisters (a witch, a werecat and a vampire) keep the world safe from demons, and have hot romance on the side. Enjoyable reads.
I also heartily recommend Jim Butcher's Dresden Files (starts with Storm Front) - wizard PI in modern Chicago fights things that go bump in the night. A very entertaining series, with
( ... )
You know, I started playing D&D in 78 and for me the dragon lance books were... I don't know, like sacrilege I guess. Seemed weird to read *other people's campaigns * when you could just go play your own.

I'm curious if you ever read Chloe Neill's Hard Bitten? If you mentioned it, I missed it somehow. I know you got it at one point.
