I rec fics to my flist if I think some of them might also enjoy it. Many of my friends are avid fanfic readers and we share good fic ideas.

I have to be honest. I will read anything once so long as i can get through it i'll even read the bad stuff to the end.

But when i rec a fic its got to be something that i couldn't stop reading if my life depended on it. Something that drew me in and kept my attention.

Especially if its something that has drawn me in enough that i feel something in reading it. Like i feel the sadness or joy or anger. Thats how i know its a good enough fic to rec.
