Supernatural 6x03
*first, i'm pretty sure the "soon" promo contains clips for 6x05 and 6x06. and to the person who asked if that looked like what they thought it did, i've already done it, so i'm curious to see how they do it. (yes, that was vague on purpose. no spoilers outside a cut. but i hope to the gods there's spoilers in the comments asking me about that....)
*second, i was pretty sure that people "got" Sam at the beginning. i did, even though i didn't put it into the words like my friend Ben did... but as i read through my list today, it became clear that (i believe) only one person understood Sam. like a few other characters i've encountered in other 'verses, (yes, including Supernatural!) Sam's hired someone to take care of a physical need, but without the emotional attachment. no, Sam doesn't have to pay for sex... sure, he could walk into a bar (or wherever) and just say "who wants me?" and have to fight off 20 women. (or, just take all 20 home, right?) but Sam doesn't want any attachments at all. paying for it is a cash-only business deal.
oh, wait... my Cynic would like to come out and play... she's trying to tell me that the reason people didn't get it was cause that was a woman Sam was with, not De.... *stuffs her back inside* i'll be having none of that now, Cynic! you know better!
