SN Ep! ~ "Exile on Main Street" (6x01)
i worked tonight until 10. the girls watched the episode, but i told them i didn't want to know ANYTHING. so here's what i got. it's sorta like a running commentary on most of the episode.
i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVED the opening montage. i did!
Dean looks so much younger. wow! (how's that possible?)
... is that a shotgun on the floor under the bed?
i LOVED that opening!!
took crap jobs that no one else wanted... like "pest control." niiice one, Dean. hee!
Dean ripping up the waitresses' phone number. heh.
screams, and Dean's going for a gun to check it out. that's m'boy! loved the moves looking around wtih the flashlight and gun.
oh.... blood on the wall's not good....
been a cop for a long time, eh, Dean? still up to your old tricks i see.
draw the drapes, make sure the door's locked..., and check under the rug. making sure the Devil's Trap is still in tact. sure, i do that every night.
sulfer in the shed sends Dean running to the Impala (under a tarp!) for supplies.
y'know, i don't know the monster of the week in this ep. huh.
his leather jacket!!!!
flickering light bulbs are never good. neither are clanks by invisible things.
Yellow Eyes!!! "Look what the apocolypse shook loose!" actually, it would make sense. if Castiel (Good) can be back, why not Yellow Eyes (Evil)?
and suddenly it's Sam there - and Dean gasps and.... it was all a hallucination??
Dean wakes up... and there's Sam. Dean was poisoned? huh. interesting. and Sam's real. yeah, i'm as confused as Dean right about now. and where is he? that doesn't look like the garage.
HUG!!! and Dean (rightfully so) wants to know how Sam is back. me too! hang on, Sam came back almost right away? wow.
i'd say Sammy is now Sam. y'know, i do really like him.
Gwen, Christian, and Mark Campbell. third cousins. that means... Mary and (say) Christian's dad were second cousins. Samuel and Christian's grandfather were first cousins; and Samuel's father Christian's greatgrandfather were brothers. probably. just guessing.
and back from S1, where John kept Dean and Sam coccooned in their own separate world, it makes sense they wouldn't know about cousins - John didn't know anything of Mary's world.
and... Samuel!!
"Whatever pulled Sam up, pulled me down." ~ so he was dead (and in Heaven)... and something's resurrecting people from Dean's past. well, just Sam and Samuel. huh. sounds like Samuel was brought back a year ago as well.
i'm still stuck on the poisoned part, and what he thought he was seeing - was that all to get him to this place to meet his cousins? hmmm....
D'Jinn poison... wow, they're not playing around, these d'jinn. oops, looks like Sid OD'd on d'jinn poison.

frantic!Dean is just awesome. and he takes them to Bobby!! (who really needs better manners than to open the door and say "damn it.") i'm guessing Sam's been by to see Bobby... and Dean's just now figuring this out. He knew a for a year too.
"How are you?" there's a question - Dean's not so sure how to answer that.
Sounds like for the last few monthsm supernatural critters have been running amuck. kinda reminds me of the demons running amuck after the opened the Hell Gate at the end of S2....

guess Dean's golf clubs DO come in handy....

Sam's car is set up the way he likes it. i'll bet it's got an iPod dock and 6-CD changer. hee!
