I felt soo bad for Sam. He steps up and admits he's angry, takes some responsibility and Dean shoots him down because he can't deal with it. I could almost wish the boys were separated. It'd be less toxic for them.
agree with you - Sam wants to talk, and Dean doesn't want to hear it. and yeah, we should have a FEW episodes with them apart. the fandom and ratings would hate it though....
from what I hear in my end of fandom (aka mostly Sam fans) people really want more Sam. I think that he's been a little under-represented this season, but I didn't mind that Sam and Dean were separated in this episode as much as I have in the past.
I also was pretty mad at Dean when he told Sam to hang on to that anger. He told him something similar in Windigo and I didn't like it then either. These boys need an outlet for their anger!
i haven't gotten to my flist yet, but yeah, there's a lot of Dean this season and last. we need more Sam! i don't mind if there's a Dean-plot and Sam-plot either.
i know! silly Dean..... holding it back is SO not good for you
I agree with the funny high Sam scene. That was well written and well acted. :D
I also want more of Sam's story this season.
IMHO I think Dean can't handle Sam's anger because he would have to look at his own feelings of anger and helplessness that he experienced in hell (and even before that when his dad left him to take care of Sam when Dean was just a kid himself). It's better (in his mind) for him to just stuff the feelings and move on rather than open himself up to something he can't handle. Of course we all know how healthy that is. ;)

Oy, I know, right? LOL, You'd think he'd learn that telling Sam to cram down his anger doesn't help. Silly Dean!
