WEIGHT:
After my last post ranting about the calories in margaritas, I weighed myself today and lost a pound.
Maybe margaritas don't have as many calories as the internet said they did? I mean, I got a fruit-flavored one which had oranges, limes, and grapefruit in it; not sure if that made any difference at all.

Maybe the weight loss is due to mild dehydration. Not to ruin the thrill of it... I just mean I know when I drink alcohol sometimes my weight is down a bit the next day, but I also have trouble staying hydrated in general. Also, some hydration comes from food, so the less you're eating the more dehydrated you could be. Or maybe you drink tons of water, I don't know.
There are some mixed drinks that are relatively low in calories. I drink gin & tonics and those are around 120 calories. Also, alcohol calories aren't really absorbed the way food calories are....

I have also heard that grapefruits are great for losing weight/getting healthy. I've heard of the grapefruit diet before, but I guess the way that I heard about was unhealthy because all you were supposed to eat was grapefruits and grapefruits only.

I plan on taking a semester or a year off before I apply to grad school for clinical psychology. I'll definitely need the break.
