Jay, this is beautiful. I cried. Jensen is so naive. All they need was talk. Thank you for happy ending.))

Jared laughs. He says, "Babe, the whole damn world's gonna know you're mine. You got me?" When he stands up, he pulls Jensen up with him. He says, "Forever. Whatever. Ruth. You promised." He could be making a vow, he's so emphatic. But when he kisses Jensen he's not reverent, he's starving, and Jensen's right there, just as hungry.

But he'll never think of Jared as anything other than sacred.

Bless you for writing this, bb. these lines are so very very lovely. MY HEART ♥♥♥ this whole thing, your Jensen and your Jared I love them so much. and Chad, absolutely adore him too.

Chad!! I love that he tries so hard, getting it all wrong and all right at the same time! Sneakily fond of this Jensen, too, I've wanted to give him some choices for ages. I kind of feel he gets to decide what he wants, here? And that's Jared. :)

- so glad you liked this. Thank you for mentioning!

I'm so glad you're enjoying them! (But I must admit I'm tearing my hair out over tomrrow's, still in edits - apologies for the late reply!)

I'm hella sleepy right now, so I can't leave the flailing comment that I want to write, but suffice it to say that this fic was wonderful, heartbreaking, and dealt with the one issue that was still niggling away at me in Sin-Eater, i.e. Jensen's independence.

I loved how you handled that aspect of Jensen's growth, and I loved how Jared was so willing to step back despite how much he hated to do so. (And Chad, who had the best of intentions, was still an idiot, bwhaha.) Also, the comparison of Jared and Jensen's relationship to Ruth and Naomi's absolutely slayed me in exactly the right way--I think I loved that the best of all.

Oh, me too. Jensen's independence, I mean: it niggled, it's the one time I've ever written someone who... really doesn't have the experience to make their own choices? (Notice me avoid the word woobie.) But I've wanted to fix it for ages. It's really good to know you felt the same way - thank you for mentioning. Plus, yes, of course Ruth and Naomi. Who else?

- I've been meaning to say for ages. I really like that icon! Thank you for leaving it here - it's lovely!

I am so glad that Juney rec'd these. I hadn't seen the first story, so I was able to enjoy both at once. They were really lovely.
