This Is Not Happening breaks my heart like no other!!! From Skinner telling Scully, "Nothing says we're going to find him in a field somewhere, nothing says he won't be fine" to Scully going to his dead body (which I always have to not look at because it breaks me HARD) to her This is not happening screams, the whole episode is so heartbreaking especially with Mark Snow's haunting music in the background.

That episode KILLS ME. Even though it's in s8 and not one of my particularly favorite episodes, Scully crying makes anything sad, it doesn't even matter what the quality of the episode is. I just love these characters so much, they transcend TV for me.
