I'm glad you are staying in touch with Mulder. I'm still worried about you (both of you, really), but to hear that you are more hopeful than you had been is good. I didn't quite get that from your last entry.

I'm a little concerned that M will freak when he reads about your new friend. He's possessive and insecure especially where you're concerned and is just coming off a very bad time. I love you dearly but you left him and to be, well -- 'flaunting' seems a bit harsh but 'mentioning' seems too understated -- a young male friend to whom you feel a strong connection seems unnecessarily pain-provoking.

Feel free to ignore me. I ache for you both and it's really none of my business. Or feel free to ream me a new one. In any event, I hope I'm wrong about Mulder.

I wouldn't say she's "flaunting" anything, especially since she'd like them to meet eventually. I'd think it would be worse if she was hiding it because at this point it sounds like there really isn't anything to hide.
I actually think Mulder will be much more concerned when he learns about the chip. The faint idea of possibly losing her to cancer again would kill him.
We're all on the ouside looking in though, and I know we're all just hoping things work out for each of them both separately and together.

I did say that 'flaunting' was too harsh a descriptive but, while I'm glad she's found someone to talk to, she needs to be talking to Mulder.

If I were her, I'd be talking to Mulder too but I guess it's just not meant to happen for her just yet. I do hope when they are back together that they're able to talk a lot more openly than in the past.
