Now, I need to look into renting a flat here in Inaba, so ( Read more... )

Moving in seems like a good idea. I'm sure you'll be helping them right away.

I can't wait to begin work!

I'm looking into a renting a flat. Seems there are a few available, though I want something with a bit of space.

How much space does one need for living alone? ...Are you living alone?

Um, yes, of course. But I'll be bringing a lot of personal things that will help me with the case.

Besides, I like my privacy. That's why I opted not to board in an apartment. font size=1>Not that there are many of those here in Inaba...

I understand, sir.

If you don't mind, might you know of a decent flat for rent in the area? Something near the station, of course.

Good to have you on the team, Shirogane-san.

Don't worry, it was my pleasure. If we catch the guy with your help, then we can easily call it quits.

Thank you very much, Adachi-san. I look forward to meeting everyone on the team. And Fluffy, too. I trust you've been looking after her?

Indeed. This is a very high-profile case. If word gets out that I'm part of the team that helped to solve it, then I won't have to worry about looking for casework anymore.

Of course! And she's been behaving really well too.

Especially considering your age... I guess the TV crews would be all over you, huh.

That's good to know.

Say, you yourself moved to Inaba from the city. Do you know of any affordable flats near the station? I want to remain near the case as much as possible.

Well... I suppose. But I really don't like the idea of being made a celebrity. In this line of work, word of mouth is much more effective than simple advertisements.

You're working on a case, Naoto-kun?

Indeed. I've been helping to look into some of the matters since Yukiko-san went missing, out of concern. But now I'm an official part of the police investigation team. I'll have full access to all their resources, so further investigations will be much easier.

Ah, Yukiko? Oh, she was the girl in that show, who called herself a princess, correct?

I'm sure things will be easier and hopefully quicker to solve, then. Good luck.

That's right. I'm certain her disappearance is related to the previous murders that occurred in Inaba. I'm still trying to work out the connection, though.

Thanks. That's why I'm looking for a flat in the area. That way, I won't have to commute from the estate to the city. I want to be right there in the thick of things.
