No, actually. [Rush and he will lose. Start the actual fight and he stands no chance. But there are other ways. She has weaknesses, weaknesses he knows painfully well.]

Why not? By standing in my way, you're implicitly supporting his agenda. I can't turn a blind eye to these sort of actions, Mello, you know that...

As a law enforcement official, I have to protect innocent civilians. I don't want to be a detective in name only. That's why... I have to take action against those people who wantonly hurt others for their own amusement...
