But... she's probably right. With all the heroic-types that apparently frequent the village, it's bloody unlikely that they'd leave people undefended. It doesn't mean he's not going to be scared shitless until he's back here, safe and sound, but it helps. A little.]

You-!! [He wants to say, "who cares?" He wants to tell her that they don't matter, it's her that he's worried about, and compared to her, and Al, the others... but he can't say that, not to her. And even he wouldn't really feel sincere about it.

It's the same as their talk before the Promised Day- she wants him to save everyone, even while he's scared shitless that he won't even be able to save her. And yet again, she's right. It's all or nothing, otherwise it isn't fair.

So... he has to figure something out. For all of them. Even the people from other worlds; even Hughes, who's dead.
