I'm happy to see that you are continuing with the story, Jen. It's been a while since the last installment, and I had worried ( ... )

Well, as it is a short story I don't really think there's chapters. I just write it in parts (when I have time and/or the flow to write it).

You're more than welcome to wait till I finish to read it, if it would help you better. Though I appreciate you taking it in pieces to help me with feedback as always doll.

I actually like the split story idea. The more I write it, the more I like the contrast, at some point these stories will cross roads again, it just takes time (as with any story) to build things in between and the reason for the "whys" of these things.

Thanks for all the help hun, I really appreciate it. =D

I realize that with me breaking it up, it breaks up its momentum, but at the same time... this is how I normally write... I just wait till it's finished to put up the whole thing. This time I thought to give my friends the insight of seeing the story in the making.

However, that being said... I can sense impatience with people who've read this on a few accounts. It is, in my opinion, the healthy reader impatience, wanting to get to the goods.

Because I can't rush things. Relationships have to be build, plots have to be built, things have to have a reason, twists have to turn etc.

What may seem like a similar scene or a scene that could be condensed like this one, actually holds some pretty important clues and/or hints. So I'm hoping people are picking up on things to deduct what is going on.

While I don't mean to flat out confuse you, I do hope that it leaves the element of surprise and hopefully over time the story starts to explain itself.

I hope.

=D

so here's some good advice... stop saying things like, "to be continued" and start saying things like, "part 7", "part 8", "part 9."

;)

i dig it... still

Yes, but if I don't I will probably get someone asking me if that was the end, even if it's not. Hence the "to be continued..." at the end.
