One of these days I will remember that I can't (re)read The Historian at night. I was planning on reading Dracula after this, and I think I might have to read it only during the day as well.
It's the whole being tailed part of the book that seriously gets me freaked out. I'm already paranoid enough, so having someone follow me? kd;lasjf;safsajf;a
The first time I read it was in a hostel room in Paris, alone. My friends had gone out to see the red light district, and I spent the night reading and jumping at every rustle and police siren I heard. AND YET I COULDN'T PUT THE BOOK DOWN. THAT IS SOME POWERFUL WRITING THAR.
I did! But they did the same thing for Cameron also. The same Google Alerts email that brought me news of the wedding also linked me to another article that said they were about to break up. *SHRUG* IDEK. But if he DOES marry her I WILL BE SO DISAPPOINTED.

Now see, the only part I had with being truly creeped out was at the end when they were back at the monastery, otherwise I was ok.
What part are you at?

I found myself suspecting EVERYONE they came into contact with.
I absolutely love this book and can't understand those that didn't.
