I hate this grad student thing. I'm so ready for this academic year to be over already. Okay, no, I don't hate being a grad student, but I hate the writing that comes with it. Writing -- be it essay or fic -- is a horribly painful process for me, I always end up agonising over the smallest word. And then there's the other thing where academic panic
