Satoshi is still caught up in the 'omg he's the Earth so that totally means we're family or something' idea. He never really had a family as a kid, so it's exciting to him. And besides that Earth is a cool guy anyway, so even if he weren't being derpy about it he would still be friends with Earth.

Dug respects Alpha! Alpha is the brave leader of the pack, and his authority is not to be questioned. And as long as Alpha isn't being scary, Dug likes chilling with him. It's kind of like when a little brother wants to hang out with the older brother and the older brother doesn't want him there but knows their mom will yell at him if he says no so he lets the little brother tag along but isn't really nice with him but the little brother is just so happy to be hanging out with the cool older kids :|b
