I definitely understand what you mean about fandoms. I don't think I can consider it a fandom if I'm not actively participating in the fan community, but that doesn't mean I love it any less. The Prince of Tennis was my first real fandom - I can't even count Harry Potter since I never really cared much about participating in the fan community - but I think even that's been overrun by Hetalia lately. :">

Harry Potter was how I figured out what fandom even was.... It's the first thing I wanted to draw for, and looking up things about the books online lead me to find fanfiction and fanart and I thought "Wow, people do this...?" I drew a lot, and even wrote a tiny thing or two but I never got involved with anything really, like discussion or posting whatever... you could say I was a real lurker, still am, when I think about it, but it's always up there in my top 5 "Things-I've-loved-since-forever" |D

I don't have any conclusions, but... umm, from what I've seen you like characters who are generally messed up or suffering in some way? idk. I totally know what you mean about barley having fandoms, though. Most of what I consider fandoms is just stuff that like and am a fan of, I don't even activley participate in the fan community when it comes to some of them, I just watch the main comms on LJ. Guess I'm a born lurker, haha.

Yeah, I didn't realize it when I made the list, but that's pretty true... on top of that, most of them are the type I expect I'd act pretty motherly towards because of all that, hmm....

And exactly. Some things I love quietly~ and others I want to shout to the world, "I LOVE THIS, GIVE ME MORE", you know? xD ♥
