I totally get what you mean about the massive writer's block. Sometimes, it feels like writer's boulder.

"Writer's boulder" - that's so perfect. Maybe "writer's glacier" - I can see that there's something good on the other side, but it's all distorted and fuzzy and there's this ginormous mountain of solid ice between me and it.
